This is my neighbourhood - the sea the studio is next to. I'm not sure if I would be making these paintings if I did not see this every day.
I live in Norway although I am British, I live in a part of the country a little way south from Oslo on a peninsula called Hurum that sticks out between two fjords. The fjord I see is the Drammen Fjord from my home.
I am inspired by the landscape in which I live, I see the colours of the water, the mountains and the skies changing constantly and I make abstract paintings inspired by this place.
